Description
This painting is a representation of the birth of Jesus and the arrival of the wise men in case the event had been taken place in the Andes mountains. As background, the Cotopaxi volcano and the star that guided the three wise men who are dressed in typical clothing for the festivals of Pujili, a town in the Ecuadorian highlands. In this version, the three wise men bring offerings such as fruits, flowers, chicha, beer and farm animals such as guinea pigs or chickens, while José plays his guitar. A painting to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
