Description
I have wanted to paint the city of Osnabrück for a long time, especially its old town. This work is my version of Van Gogh's starry night in Osnabruck. In the painting you can see buildings such as the central train station, the Rathhaus, St. Peter's Cathedral, the University Castle, the Hase River Bridge, St. Mary's and St. Katharine's Church, the Heger Tor Gate, and the outskirts of the city Piesberg. I decided to paint the Shepherd with Pigs (Sögeschweine) from Bremen because my father liked this sculpture when he visited Bremen a few years ago. Now the sculpture has a bit more colour.
