Description
Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a masterpiece of Byzantine art, and a most popular representation of the Orthodox Church. The original painting was painted in the 14th century and today is in the Church of Saint Alphonsus of Liguori in Rome. This painting is a replica of this work and was a gift to my parents, especially to my dad who has a stamp of this icon in his wallet. This was one of my first practices of painting with human figures that I made at the beginning of my activity as a painter. Personally, it reminds me of the house where I grew up and lived my childhood.
