Description
This work is based on the use of dating applications seen from a male perspective. According to studies, an average woman likes a male profile in approximately 1 out of 10 cases. However, the portion of men who are "liked" by women remains conserved in a small group of men who, at the end of the day, monopolize the majority of women on the app such as Tinder, Bumble, OkCupid, etc. As a result, only 20% of male Tinder users, the handsome ones, compete with each other for the attention of 78% of female users. The rest of the profiles of men who remain alone and desperate for the dream of finding a partner. The paiting shows a stage in an arabic style with the Ishtar Gate, entrance to the ancient city of Babylon, as a symbol of luxury and pleasure. In this place the "elite" man is surrounded by a harem of beautiful women from different demographic representing the diversity of female profiles, while outside the wall there are a multitude of men accompanied just by their fears, death, etc.
