Description
This work is inspired by one of my versions of heaven as a type of "reward" where you have eternal peace and happiness for your good deeds. In the painting, this place is represented as a swing carousel where souls, represented as skeletons, have fun for all eternity for having accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, located at the top of the carousel. At the bottom is a demon that represents Satan who is a fallen angel who rebelled against God and was taken down from the carousel. The decoration of the mechanical game is based on the "Maiwoche" event in the city of Osnabrück. It also has parts that represent the places where I have lived part of my life: Quito, Hannover, Huambalo, Osnabrück, Guayllabamba, etc.
