Description
One of the most famous pieces of art by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh with a Quito style. In the original version of Starry Night, the painting depicts the night view from his room in the Saint-Remy mental hospital, where van Gogh spent the last years of his life. Unlike the original version, this version presents how the view could have been if the painter had the city of Quito as a view with its typical churches, the Pichincha volcano and the famous statue of El Panecillo on one side.
