Description
I painted this painting commemorating the 2nd July 2025, one of the hottest days of the year, when the temperature in Osnabrück was 37°C. Throughout that week, many people went swimming in the MoskauBad pools on the outskirts of the Old Town. In the image, people are represented as frogs in an inflatable pool, suffocating from the heat. The huge sun is the main character of the painting, happy as it dries the landscape and melts water sources on snowy peaks and mountains around the world.
